This is my three cups drawing. Since I had a tall item I chose to orient the paper vertically to keep the balance. I used height of the bases to show that the bottle of paint was the furthest away. I avoided the tangent of the bottle and the can by moving it more to the left to make it seem like it was on purpose. I chose to shade the top of the can so it could appear curved in dimension and I thought I did well on that. I also started to shade the bottle which created contrast between the dark and light. I thought this drawing was also proportionate because none of them seemed to be too big or small compared to real life.

This is my line quality drawing. I made use of many different types of lines in this drawing. I used thin lines to appear closer and in more detail and fat lines to appear further away. I also used height of the bases for all three items the wire coils are about the same length away but the bottle was further away so I put it in the back. I like the way I shaded the coils.

This is my still life drawing. I made use of the technique of light perspectives. I like the perfume bottle most of all because of the way I broke down the shapes and individually shaded them. I also like the shadows of the hear jewelry box and the frog with the guitar because of the contrast from the background

This is my one point perspective drawing. I made use of many of the skills we learned like the 6 points of light which I used in my tree stumps. I used lines which were small  and detailed in the front of the drawing then less detailed as I went on for the train tracks and the fence line. My favorite part of this picture is the house and the mountains because I feel like I shaded them well.

This is my self portrait drawing. Because my body is longer than it is wide I chose to angle my paper vertically. I began with the head shape and started shading it in using the 6 parts of light. I made use of many different types of lines using line quality for my hair with thick and thin lines to indicate texture. In drawing the features I started to the big shapes then worked down to the details. My favorite part on this drawing is the eyes because I think they look good, right eye better than the left.

This is my two point perspective drawing. I felt like the most strong aspect of the drawing was my line quality and using a full value scale. I struggled with putting it in accurate perspective but after trying it a few times and with help I got the perspective right. To get a full value scale I used the 6 parts of light with shading the building and the tree. My human aspect of this drawing was a girl in a dress about to go into the church and I felt it really tied into the composition of the drawing.

This is my grey paper drawing. I chose to draw my dog because he is black and white and I like the texture to his fur. I recreated this texture through line quality with thick thin and repeated wave lines. I used a full value scale including grey in the middle and contrasting dark and light values. You can tell where the light in grow through the shadowing and the reflection in the glasses. I thought the hardest hard was trying to get all the values in there with varying the pressure I applied to both of the charcoal pencils.

This is my choice drawing. I chose to use grey paper and black and white charcoal pencils and two dogs as the subject. I felt the composition of this drawing was good because most of the space is taken up and nothing is being wasted. In this drawing I also contrasted the dark and lights with the fur and with the background. Height of the bases is used in this drawing because you can tell that the head that is lower on the page is closer and larger than the other head that is smaller and appears further behind. I struggled with the shapes of the dogs because of the skinniness of their heads.
